Hi Ken!

What’s your favourite movie? I recently watched Morbius and it’s easily now my favourite, absolutely loved it and it’s full of some great jokes! Really cracked me up 😀

Favorite film? That's a toughie, because I enjoy so many different genres and eras of film. For my money, CASABLANCA is the one film I can watch endlessly on a loop. But then there's 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY and ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN. Or classics like THREE DAYS OF THE CONDOR or THE ANDERSON TAPES. Nor can I ignore the Bond films, where I vacillate between any given film starring Sean Connery before adding ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE, THE SPY WHO LOVED ME, THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS, GOLDENEYE & SKYFALL to the list. As for the comic book genre, there's the original SUPERMAN starring Christopher Reeves alongside BATMAN with Michael Keaton without which you wouldn't have the 1st IRON MAN, CAPTAIN AMERICA THE FIRST AVENGER and THE AVENGERS. (I haven't even mentioned DR STRANGE, BLACK WIDOW and BLACK PANTHER ranking high on my list.) I haven't even gotten to the Foreign films in my library either. Way too many films come to mind after 50 years of movie-going.

@ken_penders The Michael Keaton batman is underrated!! Cheesy but very good nonetheless! I do enjoy the modern marvel movies, I’m a sucker for civil war! It’s a good movie in my eyes but I can understand why it’s critiqued so hard but it’s got a special place in my heart!

@ouma I love all the Marvel Captain America films with THE FIRST AVENGER ranked the best. I can't understand the critics for CIVIL WAR, but that's their problem. It has more heart than a number of films I could name. The same goes for BLACK WIDOW. This is a film that should've been released much sooner so we could've had 1 or 2 more films featuring the character. I tend to think not only was it a great Marvel film, but a great film, period. It had something serious to say. It also was a better Bond film than a number of Bond films have been. I'm still up in the air how I feel about NO TIME TO DIE as the elements were hit or miss throughout and I just couldn't accept the woman that James sacrificed everything for. Diana Rigg she was not. After watching so many films, I have a sense of what's worth investing my time watching as opposed to what's not. I can generally trust that a film produced by certain directors and actors will be worth at least a viewing if not outright ending up in my library.
